This equipment enclosure for Mayflower Medicinals was the first of many projects we have undertaken for the fast-growing cannabis industry with the same design/construction team: Anderson Porter Design (Architects), Acentech (Acoustic Consultants) and Key Construction Solutions (General Contractor).
Protecting neighbors from the noise created by the operation’s exterior chiller farm, the 45′ x 56′ x 14′ tall Silent Protector (Absorptive) enclosure installed in just three weeks.
Versatile AIL Sound Walls accommodate slab slope, utility lines and access door
We worked closely with the Anderson Porter and Key teams to get the site design information we needed to develop the most cost-effective solution. In addition to integrating various utility lines and an access door, there was a slope in the slab that we had to accommodate with our foundation elevations.
Thorough communication with our partner teams throughout the design and manufacturing stages helped to come up with the most efficient solution and meet the project schedule.
Good news! There have been no noise complaints from the neighbors and we have since done three more projects in this industry with the same team.
