Inside Sales/Project Coordinator: Sound Walls Division

Position: Inside Sales/Project Coordinator
Department: Sound Walls Division                    
Location: Ayr, ON — near Cambridge/Waterloo region
We are recruiting an energetic individual with a natural ability to establish strong working relationships through excellent customer service and organizational skills. The successful candidate must be results-oriented with a “can do” attitude. As a self-starter, the Inside Sales/Project Coordinator must be able to negotiate terms with suppliers and internal customers without direct supervision.


  • Provide sales information and solutions to current and prospective clients.
  • Oversee ordering process throughout all stages — order placement, delivery, invoicing.
  • Administer contracts and coordinate small to medium size projects.
  • Maintain customer and inventory records to help maximize production capacity and ensure accurate and timely project delivery.
  • Work with Regional Engineers to gain technical product specifications.
  • Assist Sales Manager in the development of presentations for target companies.
  • Assist in reviewing plans and specifications for sales prior to proposal delivery.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree/Diploma in Civil Technology or Commerce
  • A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience is preferred
  • Experience in the construction industry is an asset

Additional Skills:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environments without direct supervision
  • Strong computer skills are a must, especially MS Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a capability to plan, coordinate, analyze and execute
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism with both internal and external customers
  • Experience or familiarity with Customer Relationship Management and/or ERP systems is an asset, particularly Visual Manufacturing
